Camp Polk (now Fort Polk) Louisiana is one of the places the 192nd Tank Battalion received their training on tanks. Follow the link below to read about an old tank buried and now recovered on the grounds of Fort Polk. If it is an M2A4 or M3, that’s the type the 192nd trained on.
