Pvt. Alfred E. Doshier survived the Death March, and the Capas Boxcars. He died of dysentery in Camp O’Donnell POW prison camp on this date in 1942. He was buried in the Camp O’Donnell cemetery. His remains were later relocated to the Manila American Cemetery.

S/Sgt. Robert E. Peterson survived the Death March, the Capas Boxcars, POW camps, a hell ship voyage and slave labor in Japan. He died in Maywood, Illinois on this date in 1965.
