Just received word from David Aquila, son of Andrew J. Aquila, Co. B, 192md Tank Battalion, that Mr. Aquila passed away on the 28th of November, 2011, age 93. Andrew Aquila was a Death March and Hell Ship survivor. His travails on Bataan and in the custody of the Japanese Imperial Army are detailed in a great article written by his son, David.
